Oxyresveratrol
Application Notes
Oxyresveratrol is a polyphenolic compound found in many plant families, including from the heartwood of Artocarpus lakoocha. Structurally, oxyresveratrol is a stilbene with four phenolic hydroxyl groups. Oxyresveratrol demonstrates antiinflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor and neuroprotective effects. Notably, oxyresveratrol also inhibits tyrosinase, responsible for the formation of melanin pigments and is responsible for the anthelmintic activity of the traditional Thai medicine Puag-Haad.
