Aspergillusidone F
Application Notes
Aspergillusidone F is a dibrominated depsidone of the nidulin family of fungal metabolites, first isolated from a marine sponge Aspergillus unguis only when cultured on PDB media containing KBr. Aspergillusidone F demonstrates a range of bioactivities, including weak cytotoxicity against several human cell lines, aromatase inhibition and antimicrobial activity against B. subtilis, S. aureus and S. cerevisiae.
