Application Notes

Isokotanin B is a biscoumarin isolated from Aspergillus alliaceus by researchers at Iowa University and the USDA in 1994. Isokotanin B is a highly characteristic chemotaxonomic marker for species belonging to the A. alliaceus and related clades. Other than weak insecticidal activity, the bioprofile of isokotanin has not been extensively investigated.
